Caslas Mountain Top Home
New Construction
The Belyeus were looking for their forever home. Having grown up in the area, Hot Springs Village was the perfect choice to be close to family and friends. They purchased two lots which allowed us to ensure the best vantage point of the lake. Their lots were extremely steep making construction quite a challenge. However, the final project allowed for not one but two fantastic decks to enjoy the lake views. Lee still needed a home office but will later be converted into another guest bath. Deborah wanted extra storage and space to work on scrapbooking while Lee is an audiophile hence the guitar room with extra soundproofing.
Freels Lake House
Whole House Renovations
Gary and Susie Freels tasked us with taking their unique mid-century home and freshening the fixtures and finishes. Although Susie wanted to change everything, the slate tile floors and kitchen cabinets had to stay. Our design needed to ensure all of the new and existing finishes played well together. We warmed up the space by adding a bold color palette for all the baths and lower living areas and wood accents. Textures such as a linen tile and wood slat fireplace wall added interest to areas where there were none before. This home was designed by it’s previous owner, an architect, who designed many rooms on a 45-degree angle. These angled areas such as the guest bath challenged us to create a usable space while being beautiful and functional. What began as just an upstairs refresh turned into a complete transformation for the entire home.
Levantino Lake House
New Construction
This custom home was designed and built for my parents Mac and Linda Good. The main living area was for everyday use. The lower level was used for entertaining and potential future bedrooms. The upper level originally functioned as an office and conference room. Then the upper level was converted into a short-term income producing rental once the construction company’s offices moved to Hot Springs. The traditional style of this home was accented with special details in the tray ceilings, panel moldings, and even a hidden TV compartment. A spacious composite covered deck with built-in fireplace, grill, beverage center, and hot tub elevates the entertainment factor with stunning lake views.
Monte Kitchen
Kitchen Remodel
The Montes desperately needed a refresh for their kitchen and butler’s pantry. They had updated other rooms but the heart of the home, the kitchen, felt dated. The general layout worked well for the daily needs, but the fixtures and finishes felt drab. The home boosts an open floor plan. While we wanted the kitchen to have a more contemporary feel, it needed to complement the traditional elements of the adjacent rooms. Once the kitchen project began to take shape, we decided the foyer stairs needed a bit of refresh as well. New stunning metal railing and oak treads accented the recently renovated front door bring the whole space together.
The Peters Paradise
Whole House Renovations
The Peters reached out to us to remodel their entire home in phases. We set to work designing a feasible plan to renovate each portion of the home within 3 phases. By utilizing our design build process, we are able to come up with a game plan that allowed each phase to be completed without having to any costly redo when starting the next phase. The photos depict Phase 1 which entails adding an enormous covered composite deck with cable railing and tongue and groove vaulted ceiling, new primary suite including bedroom with sitting area, walk-in closet, and large bath, new guest suite with bath access from bedroom and living area, and reworked the entrance to the guest bedroom, office, and primary suite for better flow. The Peters reside in California and were looking to bring some of that indoor/outdoor living to their Hot Springs Village home. Large 16’ sliders in both the sunroom and primary bedroom help bring the outdoors in and allow ample sunlight and lake views. Be on the lookout for Phase 2 starting in the next year.
Thornbury Estates
New Construction
The Jennings had been busy planning their dream homes for years before visiting with our team. Susan had the vision and design all laid out in her mind and our team was challenged to make it a reality. We utilized every nook and cranny with no space being used and wasted. From the custom dog kennels under the stairs to the hidden doorway into the second prep kitchen, this home is full of surprises. The millwork is the star of the show though with panelized walls, coffered ceilings, custom
