Project consisted of a renovation of existing kitchen, garage, laundry and deck adding 300 square feet of additional living space, an upgraded kitchen and laundry area.

Good Construction Incorporated was recommended to us for our kitchen remodel and room addition. Mac and Nicole Good are consummate professionals who listened to our ideas and went right to work to prepare a schedule and floor plan to meet our needs. Nicole ensured that the contractors knew their schedule and kept us informed every step of the way.

The remodel took the demolition of the kitchen and part of the garage and deck down to the studs and put it all back together again with new plumbing, electrical and heating. Nicole knew the right vendors to purchase our cabinetry, appliances and back splash tile to achieve the overall aesthetic. All the work performed throughout the remodel is of the highest standard and we enjoyed working with Nicole, Mac, and all of their sub-contractors.

Mac and Nicole did some of the work themselves when one contractor had a conflict to ensure the project remained on schedule. Throughout the construction, they made sure debris was removed so it would not become an eyesore. We will definitely be calling them for any future renovation needs we may have.

Project consisted of a renovation of the master bathroom, master bedroom, laundry room and powder bathroom. An addition of an office nook was created when the porch was enclosed. This was a joint project between the Hunts and the Department of Veteran Affairs, and the space needed to be ADA accessible.

We had Good Construction construct a new more spacious deck for us a few years ago. We were extremely pleased with the outcome, so we decided to have them work on our project – the bathroom, laundry room and office renovation. There were a few challenges associated with this project. 1: It needed to blend cohesively with the existing design of the main level; 2: It needed to be wheelchair accessible and 3: It needed to be functional, accessible yet still beautiful and not institutional.

Mac and Nicole set out to work with our architect and designer to create a space that met all our needs. This was a joint project with the Department of Veterans Affairs, so Good Construction not only needed to meet our expectations but that of the VA as well.

Nicole determined the schedule for our project and let us know throughout if there were any deviations such as material delays. This allowed us to know which contractors would be present on what days giving us peace of mind as we were living in the home throughout the renovation. The project finished on time and within our budget. We could not have been more pleased. Now we have a stunning bathroom, laundry room, office nook and powder bath that meets all our needs.

We can’t wait to get designing our next project…the kitchen!

I am really late in submitting this review, my apologies.

When I called Good Construction I was at my wits end. I had tried to refurbish my kitchen cabinets in my rental house during my very short vacation from work. Inspired by Pinterest and believing it couldn’t possibly be THAT hard… I started to strip the paint off. I was 10 days in to trying to get to wood on some cabinets that had been built in the 60’s and multiple layers of paint. I hit my breaking point standing on my back porch tearing up in anger and mentally cursing Pinterest, so I gathered up all of the cabinet doors and hardware threw them in the back of my vehicle and hauled them to the dump. I came back to the house and started calling to see who could give me an estimate and quickly. Nicole answered and said she could be there later on in the afternoon to assess the situation.

Nicole had a mock up and 3 choices for me completed in a couple of days. Her bids were extremely competitive and she presented a price range for me to choose from instead of just presenting one bid.

I pretty much knew in the first five minutes of speaking with Nicole who I wanted to choose as my contractor, but I really needed to wait on all of the bids. I can tell you with confidence, she hit it out of the park.

Due to the nature of my job, it was necessary for me to do the rest of my correspondence and acceptance of work via email. Nicole kept me informed on everything in a timely manner and included pictures of the work as it progressed. Not only that, the work was completed on time and under budget. The kitchen ended up beautiful and really made a difference in the whole look of the house. I was very pleased and look forward to working with Good Construction on future projects. Absolutely professional in every way.

Five years ago we hired Good Construction to build our seasonal home in another state.

Some people told us that we needed to be on-site throughout the construction. However, by using e-mail (often with pictures) and the telephone, Good Construction built our home without us having to be there all the time. They listened to us, met deadlines, came in under budget, and were extremely professional throughout the process.

Since the house was built, we have hired Good Construction for other smaller projects, and will do so again.

We have been very please with the quality of work, attention to detail, and willingness to incorporate specific feature that we wanted.

Our experience with Good Construction has been extremely positive.

Good Construction did a complete master bathroom makeover for us in February of 2015 for $16,000.

We created a design which they beautifully enhanced in a most professional, timely and friendly manner. The room was taken down to the studs, the walls and floor were tiled, a bench and shelving were designed, and new fixtures were suggested that reflected the unique architecture of our home. We now have a peaceful, spa-like retreat. We have used Good construction before, and we will use them again!

Good Construction (Nicole) was great to work with. She came in with creative ideas and advice (which we needed) for our major remodeling project.

We remodeled our entire kitchen, family room bar, and master bathroom and replaced all of the flooring throughout the house. Good Construction handled several other structural changes, which included updating tile at the house entrance, replacing the flooring on our deck, and providing us with a new creative deck railing. As construction issues arose, they were dealt with professionally and to our satisfaction. Nicole was always concerned about timelines and cost overruns, and diligently tried to hit targets. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and would gladly recommend Good Construction to anyone.
